Hope Opens the Door To Freedom

Residential Recovery Home for Women

The Harvest House Of Hope is a non profit, long term (6-12 months), faith based, sober living residential recovery home for women. The two story house sits on 10 acres on a dirt road in Northern Decatur County Georgia, with a peanut field in front and cotton growing in the back fields.

Halfway House Bainbridge, GA We provide a home environment that empowers women to become productive members of their families and communities. By intensive study and application of a Divinely inspired twelve-step program, based upon spiritual principles, will lead each woman to a personal relationship with a loving and forgiving God of each one's own understanding.

No greater threat to health and spirituality that is increasing in our communities, country and global, is the problem of substance abuse. Women who come to HHH find that once the problem has been defined we teach further into the solution with a plan of action.

The Harvest House of Hope is not a medical facility or hospital so each woman must be detoxed at least three days before entering. The HHH is for women serious about getting sober. We have volunteer staff 24 hours daily.

HHH is here to provide a safe, supportive, and encouraging atmosphere while regaining their lives and obtaining their goals by replacing old thinking and beliefs with new thinking and beliefs. Yoga, meditation, exercise, music, and group meetings are also part of the program. Some women have felt that they were hopeless, and the program will give them the tools necessary to deal with life, and restore mothers to their children and families. The foundation for continued recovery is discipline, focus, spiritual principles, prayer, support system, and working with others.

Each woman will be given the opportunity to get their GED or further their education, learn how to plan and prepare meals, gardening, crafts, sewing, and preparing for employment. After 30 days each will be able to participate in volunteering. We believe everyone should give back something, of their time, talents, and treasures. If you have much, give much. If you have little, give little. No one should give back nothing. The miracle of transforming lives for alcoholics by means of the 12 steps has been successful since 1935, if they have the willingness to be honest and thorough.
